I was born in Connecticut in 1965. Sailboats are a big passion aside from art making which has always been my passion. Often my boats have been my muse, or starting point for creativity, In 1987 I started working as a guard in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. At the same time I had just gotten my BFA degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. It worked out pretty good because I haven’t left the Museum since. It’s a perfect job for an Artist, plus the fifteen minute walking commute through a gorgeous park ain’t bad either.

So after the day job every day, plus chores etc, cooking for the beloved family, I love to sit down in my comfy chair and create the things that I spend hours imagining in my head, while at work, patrolling a world class art museum. I can see these things in my mind very vividly, and then when I get them down on the canvas, they become real and palpable, which is very satisfying.

I don’t have a lot left in the tank after all of the above, so hopefully this website will help share what I’ve done, and be useful to others.
