poems

I would like to put into words the purpose of my poetry. My days tthe Museum of fine arts boston are often quite long and isolated. they put me in a different part of the Museum every day and out of pure boredom my imagination talkes off and the act of writing things down is a good way to while away the time untill Lunch or time to go home. I never edit them, I simply write them line by line, each line in response to the last. Very similar to the way I've made drawings and paintings. To me its better to write another one than to try to perfect them.

what do they mean? I don't really know how to answer that but I do know that the act of writing them has made my 24 years and counting at the MFA go a lot quicker. I leave the interpretation to the reader, after all they come from the un-conscious anyway.

I am always interested in what other artists are doing and would like very much to inter-act with anyone about poetry, art, or whatever.

thanks
John Storrow
